Bingo night?

I'm on the train on my way home from work, and there was an elderly couple sitting in front of me. They were on the train when I got on, and I found myself wondering where they would get off the train. Were they on their way to the city to catch a show? Dinner?

Unexpectedly, they got off at Franklin Park. Now, I don't know much about Franklin Park, but the place looks fairly desolate. I was again wondering where they would go. Was there some secret early bird special steakhouse that they were headed to? Was someone waiting in a car to pick them up? And then I saw it - the American Legion. As the train pulled up to the stop, I noticed a nearby American Legion with a large sign proclaiming "Bingo Night! Thursdays at 7pm!" Now, I have no clue whether or not they were headed to Bingo Night, but if I was a betting man, I'd toss some cash down on that bet.

Thus ends a blog entry with no real point other than a random memory dump from somewhere on the Metra Miluakee District West Line.

Something wrong with bingo night son?
Next you'll attach the early birdy. (oh, you did; our world continues to crumble.)
Another great entry from the modern day Kerouac.
