Lunar Eclipse

Jessica laments that I'm always outdoing her on blog postings. In response, I admitted that I do tend to have more free time on my hands. However, in all fairness - as I was running in and out of the apartment into 10 degree weather, she was on the couch watching Veronica Mars.

Anyways, it was a crystal clear night in Chicago for the Lunar Eclipse, so I snapped a round of pictures on each phase of the moon as it disappeared. Here's my amateur photo montage I made from the pictures.

You took those pictures?! Wow! And in CA the clouds turned out to be a problem. No eclipse for us!

I sure did, I couldn't believe they turned out so well. It happened to be a crystal clear night in Chicago.

And the picture is now my desktop.

I guess that's one benefit of single-digit temperatures: clear nights.
