Chicago news roundup

I realize it has been a little while since we posted anything - so here's a quick Chicago news roundup.

1. The new season of Top Chef started tonight - and it was great as usual. Especially since this season takes place in Chicago. The inaugural meeting of the cast members took place at the original Pizzeria Uno, where we've been a few times. If you've never watched the show, check it out Wednesdays at 10PM EST on Bravo.

2. The Sears Tower antennae are currently green. Seriously, I'm looking out the window at them right now.

3. The river will be green on Saturday. Check out what that looks like here.

That's about it.

I want to see a green river! Grandma and Grandpa are going to have green beer at their St. Patrick's party on Sunday, one of Grandma's (of O'Brien and Pryor lineage)favorite holidays, but that doesn't hold a candle to a whole river. The orange to green metaphor I'm sure is not lost on the Irish and English of Chicago.
